Torque Specs for Brake Rotor Bolts Kiffer_XR250R Posted August 29, I need the torque specs for the front and rear brake rotor bolts. The service manual and the owner's manual do not have them listed anywhere. I know the bolts need thread-lock (bolts had residue from factory), but I have no idea for what the torque values are.

When reinstalling the brake caliper you must torque the caliper bolts to 25 ft-lbs. If you need to remove the calipers banjo bolt it will need to be tightened 

You could buy a service manual from Haynes, they list a lot of torque specs in them. Did you try to Google it? I did and found this, don't forget how handy Google can be! Torque the mounting bolts to 25 ft. lbs. (34 Nm). If the brake hose was removed, torque the union bolt to 21 ft. lbs. (29 Nm).

I've seen for most other Chevys its 100 ft/lb for lug nuts and 21 ft/lb for the caliper guide pins but I can't find an accurate number for the bracket bolts as I will be changing the rotors as well. I've seen numbers from 85 to 121 on other Chevy models.
